Taxacom: Charging for postage and handling fees for specimen loans

[Stefanie Ickert-Bond]

Due to current underfunding of ALA, we are sadly unable to offer loans
or sampling of our collections without charging for our staff time and
shipping costs. This breaks with decades of tradition of offering our
herbarium services for free, but is the only way we can continue to
operate a material loan service. Have other herbaria implemented
similar loan fee structures?

Best, Steffi Ickert-Bond.
