Taxacom: Possible gift of publications

Dear Colleagues,

As you may have heard, after the London Museum and others, the Paris Museum
is facing a major "re-organisation". The herpetology lab of the MNHN (rue
Cuvier) will disappear this year, our collections will move out of Paris
(we still do not know where), our library will be in part destroyed and in
part dispersed, and our staff will have to leave our building for a yet
unknown destination.

Before they are "pounded", we are willing to give away collections of
journals and reprints published  by us, that we have in our lab, to
potentially interested colleagues or institutions  This includes complete
or subcomplete collections of the journals Alytes, Dumerilia, Monalytes,
Circalytes and Frog Leg, as well as many (several hundreds) reprints of
herpetological works, mostly authored by me but also by other colleagues.
All this is available for gift to interested colleagues or
institutions, provided the recipient can pay for the cost of mailing these
parcels.

In case you, your institutions or any other colleague or institution that
you know would be interested in some of these documents, please let me
know. We could then estimate the costs for shipping them by a transporter,
unless (which would probably be less expensive) someone travelling in
Europe or in France might pick them up in Paris (before the end of June) or
in Bretagne (Western France).
