If the name was transcribed in error from a handwritten note or label, a possible locality name in Brazil would be ?bidos http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/?bidos,_Brazil

Subject: [Taxacom] Obrilonys
A fly holotype is labeled with "Obrilonys" and "Jan" on its label , and the original description states "Obrilonys , Brazil". Neither year nor name of collector is given. I cannot find this locality and wonder if
anybody would have a clue? The species is widespread in tropical South
America.
