Helianthus diffusus

Hi!

Does anyone out there know anything about the application and meaning of the name Helianthus diffusus Moench [non Sims.]?? I have got a strange Helianthus for determination, found on a rubish-place in Sweden, which I have not been able to find a name for in available litterature. However, in herbarium LD there is a single old specimen that exactly matches my unknown plant. This specimen is labeled as Helianthus diffusus Moench., but that name appears not to be in current use so I suppose it is a synonym for something more well-known...
