What are they? Crystals?

Dear all,
Some of you thought that they might be crystals. As we know, crystals
usually consist of calcium oxalate, and can be soluble in hydrochloric
acid. But they couldn't. Sometimes, this kind of particles can also
coexist with a kind of true star crystals, as in the species Cyathocalyx
globosus.

Thanks so much for kind reply.

Cheers,

Ruijiang Wang
