Boyce Thompson Institute

Dear TAXACOM:

We are trying to locate herbarium specimens of the old Boyce Thompson
Institute, Yonkers, New York.  I checked Index Herbariorum, the web page of
the present-day Boyce Thompson Institute in Ithaca, and other places I
could think of.  I cannot find any indication of what became of a herbarium
from Boyce Thompson, if any.  I have seen specimens in our collection that
came from "The Herbarium of the Boyce Thompson Institute", but there is no
indication of where or when they came to OC and from there to MU.

Does anyone of a herbarium bent out there have any clues that can help me?
