Taxacom: Alternative stains for moth dissection

Hope someone might have some ideas on this. I have a colleague who may not
be able to access Chorazol Black or other specialised stains for a
genitalia dissection. This led me to wonder if there might be some other
kinds of stain that are (usually) easily accessible, perhaps from a retail
pharmacy store that a 'lay' person might be able to use. Any suggestions
very welcome.
