Dear all,
On behalf of IRMNG, the Interim Register of Marine and Nonmarine Genera,
I/we are searching for a "corrigenda" page (possibly p. 506, possibly not)
that accompanies the following publication:
Tillyard, R. J.; Dunstan, B. 1923 (?1924) Mesozoic Insects of
Queensland. *Geological
Survey of Queensland Publication.* 273
It seems possible that the corrigenda (referencing text in Part 1) is at
the end of the whole volume (or perhaps 2 volume set?) (multiple parts); at
least it is not included in Part 1 "Dunstan, B. (1923). Part
I.—Introduction and Coleoptera" which is otherwise available online at
https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgeoscience.data.qld.gov.au%2Fdata%2Freport%2Fcr055428&data=05%7C02%7Ctaxacom%40lists.ku.edu%7C936fbbccd28240901e2608dd09e795bc%7C3c176536afe643f5b96636feabbe3c1a%7C0%7C0%7C638677612453328416%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=%2BjgxZWiS3uaDxFPXguzFvdWUSlsnJZF4sJ1D6S9moNE%3D&reserved=0 (this only goes up
to the last page of that part, i.e. p. 89).
A snippet of the work (including first few lines of the desired Corrigenda)
can be found on Google Books at
https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fbooks.google.co.uk%2Fbooks%3Fid%3Dx0MQAAAAIAAJ%26focus%3Dsearchwithinvolume%26q%3Dcorrigenda&data=05%7C02%7Ctaxacom%40lists.ku.edu%7C936fbbccd28240901e2608dd09e795bc%7C3c176536afe643f5b96636feabbe3c1a%7C0%7C0%7C638677612453484688%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=avzZeYxymsXj3G99FuDj6TUvj9P1g8s72S9xpnPOlI4%3D&reserved=0
, but unfortunately the remainder of the relevant page(s) cannot be viewed.
The Google play store has a reference to "Mesozoic Insects of Queensland:
Part 1 Robin John Tillyard · Benjamin Dunstan Jan 1924 · A. J. Cumming,
government printer", stated to be 506 pages (which would in fact be all
parts, perhaps) at
https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fplay.google.com%2Fstore%2Fbooks%2Fdetails%2FMesozoic_Insects_of_Queensland_Part_1%3Fid%3Dx0MQAAAAIAAJ%26hl%3Den_GB&data=05%7C02%7Ctaxacom%40lists.ku.edu%7C936fbbccd28240901e2608dd09e795bc%7C3c176536afe643f5b96636feabbe3c1a%7C0%7C0%7C638677612453484688%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=B1SvA5DgQ215SXdF0Cu6MypL1WYDJhPHkLX%2FXvFGdN4%3D&reserved=0
and says this can be viewed on a smartphone or tablet via the Google Play
Books App, however after installing that app on my phone I cannot find the
work!!
I have had no luck searching for the full work in either BHL or Internet
Archive. According to WorldCat, there are a number of physical copies in
libraries around the place, see
https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsearch.worldcat.org%2Ftitle%2FMesozoic-insects-of-Queensland%2Foclc%2F5261132&data=05%7C02%7Ctaxacom%40lists.ku.edu%7C936fbbccd28240901e2608dd09e795bc%7C3c176536afe643f5b96636feabbe3c1a%7C0%7C0%7C638677612453484688%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=7Pp%2B%2BIJ2kqEAWraiv1IGijOhQYyvS%2FECQP8ZxRMiMw8%3D&reserved=0
If anyone can point us to, or share a copy of the mysterious "Corrigenda"
page/s, that would be greatly appreciated!
