Taxacom: Barnes - collector of zoological & natural history specimens in Ceylon (Sri Lanka)

I am looking for any information about a collector named Barnes, presumably British, who collected zoological/entomological (perhaps natural history generally) specimens and presented or sold them to the Natural History Museum, London [=British Museum (Natural History)]. Unfortunately, I don't have anything more, even years active, but probably late 19th century or early 20th century.
