As some list members are well acquainted with the literature of many or
various groups I thought I would check and see if anyone knows of any
study of the systematic relationships among Agathis species that is later
than the study published by Leslie, A.B., Beaulieu, J., Homan, G., Cambell,
C.S., Mei, W., Raubeson, L.R. & Mat, S. 2018. An overview of extant conifer
evolution from the perspective of the fossil record. American Journal of
Botany 105: 1531-1544.
doi:10.1002/ajb2.1143
I have found that there is a history of switching out various relationships
in succeeding molecular studies (which sort of belies their reliability
somewhat) and therefore want to check whether anything substantial
postdates Leslie et al. - I've done some looking, but easy enough to
overlook, especially if Agathis is buried in some more taxonomically
expansive study.
Thanks,
John Grehan
