Taxacom: Cordiceps vs Beauveria

Dear colleagues,

It was suggested to me that the parasitic fungus name Cordyceps bassiana is
a synonym of Beauveria bassiana. Anyone on this list
sufficiently acquainted with these fungi to tell me whether one has been
synonymised under the other? Yes I could try looking it up, but I am not a
fungal taxonomist and it will take time that is unnecessary if others on
the list already have quick access to the current state of taxonomy.
