Hi All,
A recent paper in Nature provides very strong evidence which confirms that Phylum Ctenophora (not Porifera) is the sister group of all other Metazoa (but renames that sister group Myriazoa, instead of Benthozoa). Wikipedia has now listed Myriazoa as a synonym of Benthozoa, but which clade name is more appropriate? I personally agree that Myriazoa is probably a more appropriate name.
