OK, I have found Meuschen's original name as first published here:

The work is entitled "Museum Geversianum, sive, Index rerum naturalium :
continens instructissimam copiam pretiosissimorum omnis generis ex tribus
regnis naturae objectorum : quam dum in vivis erat magna diligentia
multaque cura comparavit Abrahamus Gevers" and does not seem to be one of
those treated as an unavailable work.
Smith's later name (same taxon or different?) is apparently published on p.
21 of "Smith, W. 1817. *Stratigraphical system of organized fossils with
reference to the specimens of the original geological collection in the
British Museum*. London 118 pp." , however I have not traced an original of
this (in BHL at least...)
