Thank you very much for the replies to everyone, particularly to Martin for
the incredibly informative insights, to Debbie for the highly useful links,
and to Rod for the helpful suggestion about archive.org (which I use very
frequently myself too), but also to others who commented. So apparently
there is some moving forward regarding the copyright time "wall". Frankly
speaking so far I could not find any trace of it on BHL, the journals I
checked randomly a few minutes ago are still frozen in the same year as
they were before (Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist.: 1923, Treubia: 1923, Ent. Ztschr.:
1924, Nova Guinea: 1922, Ann. Hist.-Nat. Mus. Natn. Hung.: 1922, Ent.
Bl?tter: 1923 etc.), but OK, I understood that the digitization is still
ongoing, and new volumes are continuously added, probably additional
volumes of the above titles will become available too in the foreseeable
future. I will stay tuned, and if I need anything which is not available
online but not under copyright I will request a scan through the link
suggested by Debbie. Thank you very much again.
With best regards, David
