Taxacom: More 'high quality' taxpayer funded research from NZ govt researchers

In any 'overview' (or review) one cannot cite everything or everybody, but
at the very least one would reasonably expect an overview of a subject to
cover the principle viewpoints - especially if there are only two. In this
case a recent article published in New Zealand on the origin of alpine
insects presented only the colonization model of origin while suppressing
the passive uplift model (which has been around for over 30 years and very
extensively documented). To me this is just plain shoddy, and poor return
on scientific quality for taxpayer funded research. For those interested,
