Hi All,
If bodoensis is accepted as a new name, I would regard it as a subspecies within species Homo sapiens (sensu lato).
Below is how I classified the genus Homo a couple years ago, with a paraphyletic H. s. heidelbergensis giving rise to H. s. neanderthalensis, and H. s. rhodesiensis splitting off next:

1 Homo habilis%
>
> 1 H. h. rudolfensis
>
> 2A H. h. habilis
>
> 2B H. h. floresiensis ("hobbit")
>
> 3 {{H. erectus + H. sapiens}} (exgroup marker)

> _a_ Homo erectus%

>
> ? H. e. naledi
>
> 2 H. e. ergaster
>
> 3 H. e. erectus%
