In a related sort of way - inaturalist functions like I wish the literature
search would. Thinking of every inaturalist posting as a live 'article',
all I had to do was register my search term (family taxon in this case),
and being the lazy bum that I am, all I have to now do each day is view
their automatic email with all new postings for that group over the last
24 hours. costs me nothing. Wonderful. That's my utopia for literature.
