*Pediculus humanus* and other names for the human body and head louse

Hi Taxacomers:

*Pediculus humanus *was described by Linnaeus in 1758 (older names exist
but, for the purposes of animal nomenclature, the 1758 name is the one that
marks the beginning). Besides the paper by Nuttall (1919) entitled (in
part), "The systematic position, synonymy..." published in *Parasitology*
11(3-4):329-346, is there a more recent work with a comprehensive synonymy
of the names used for the human body louse and human head louse?

If you have a constructive suggestion, please, email me directly,

Apologies in advance for potential duplicate emails.

Sincerely,

Jorge
