[Taxacom] Help with identification of an eagle in Somaliland

The underwing pattern and basal depth of the wings seems a much better fit for African Hawk Eagle. I think the "crown" is a product of the way that the bird's head is being held. From what has been shared, there is no suggestion that THIS bird harmed a child, just that locals think it's the same as birds that they believe to have harmed/killed children. This may or may not be correct in both aspects.

Hi Laurent,
But would an African Hawk Eagle be large enough to badly injure (much less kill) a human child? Also, there is another photograph showing a dorsal view of the eagle, and the person appears to be holding it by its "crown" (see weblink below). Would an African Hawk Eagle have anything like that on its head?

Something on September 24, 2019 at 02:44 PM EAT by barkworth. Assistance requested; locals think it is not native. Reports of eagles attacking people, particularly children lead to interest.

This rather looks like a young African Hawk Eagle, Aquila spilogaster,
to me.
(The pics are not really ideal (too close) to appreciate the general
structure of the bird. In any case, the pattern of the flight feathers
(tight, thin, weakly contrasting barring) does not match African Crowned
Eagle.)
