Leipzigwill host the 2020 Annual Meeting of the Society for Tropical Ecology (gtö) andthe European Conference of Tropical Ecology. Contributions from across tropicalecology, incl. evolutionary & biogeographic topics, are very welcome!

 

Theme:"The future of tropical ecosystems. New insights and innovativemethods."

 

The annualconference of the Society for Tropical Ecology (gtö) will provide aninterdisciplinary platform for discussing major challenges and futureopportunities in tropical ecology, including:

 

•Understanding tropical biodiversity at all spatial and taxonomical scales

• Defining resilient tropical ecosystems

• Novelapproaches to understand and manage tropical ecosystems

•Conservation and restoration of tropical ecosystems

 

 

Date: March24-27, 2020

 

Venue:Augusteum, Campus Augustusplatz (Leipzig city centre)

 

The callfor sessions is still OPEN. Proposals for sessions will be accepted until 31 October2019.
