Dear Vratislav,
As your email about the GofundMe campaign was titled "Any advice please", I
will provide such advice. The campaign reads "I need to buy Leica
stereomicroscope with digital camera and software" and the cost is
estimated to be $8,950.
Stereo microscopes will do the same regardless of the brand, what matters
is the technical specifications. Same applies to software and camera. I
applied for funding to buy the "same" items and they were ten times
cheaper. For $800 I got a trinocular stereo zoom microscope with a
magnification range from 3.5X to 180X, a 10.7MP USB camera and software. My
advice is that you find alternative equipment and software to the one you
searched for, so that you maximize the impact of donations to your noble
objective. Adding more information to the campaign may help too. For
example: who you are, what's your experience with the group and mentioned
techniques, links to the online catalogs with the items, and a support
statement by the Atlas of Living Australia.
