[Taxacom] German to English Dictionary for Botany?

[Anthony Pigott]

Thanks for all the replies, on and off the list. Two recommendations that seemed particularly useful to me are:

Dictionary of Biology: Deutsch/Englisch - English/German Springer 2014

Encyclopaedic English-German and German-English dictionary by Muret, Eduard Published 1891

The first is very new and the second rather old but both had a good proportion of the words that I was looking for.

Subject: [Taxacom] German to English Dictionary for Botany?

Dear All,

Does anyone know of a good German to English dictionary for botanical terms?
On-line would be ideal. Specifically, I'm trying to read / translate some recent pteridological papers. For example, I couldn't find by Googling a translation for "Fiedersegmente" (I think it means pinna-segment).

Many thanks

Anthony
