[Taxacom] Re Termite Colonies

Dear Taxacomers,

I would be grateful if somebody can point out to me references
regarding the populational structure of mound-building termite
colonies (Amitermes, Macrotermes...). In particular, if colonies can
be multigenerational (i.e. multiple queens/ new queens "bred" after
the death of the current one) or if the colony simply fades away after
the death of the queen.
