GRIN is straight forward Senegalia modesta (Wall.) P. J. H. Hutter as
accepted name and Acacia modesta Wall. as synonym.

The Plant List considers both as accepted names

A. modesta Wall. as accepted name with two synonyms A. dumosa Roxb. and A.
obovata Roxb.

Senegalia modesta (Wall.) P. J. H. Hutter as accepted name, basionym again
ignored for no assigned reasons.
