[Taxacom] Mixed roots

OK, is mixing a Latin and a Greek root in an animal genus name 1) OK and 
nothing to worry about, 2) ugly but permissible, 3) wrong but what you 
gonna do, or 4) horribly wrong and disallowed?  As an editor should I 
ignore it or not?  I am hopeless on this stuff.
