Dear Collegue,
I am Olga De Castro from University of Naples (Italy) and I write you for a possible helping.
Do you know a Molecular Systematic Laboratory in Japan where my student (Valentina Iavarone) will can go? Valentina would obtain a scholarship from Embassay if she present a Japan contact.

I attached her letter. All the best, Olga

January, 2012

Dear Professors,

I am Valentina Iavarone and I would like to receive the Monbukagakusho Scholarship of the Japanese Government and I am writing to express my interest to study under your guide.

I'm studying Natural Science at the University of Naples "Federico II". For my degree thesis I'm working on the spread of Cyperus esculentus through molecular methods (DNA extraction, end-point PCR, Sequencing) and within one year I will reach my degree. I'd like to keep study in this systematic molecular field and, at the same time, have a life experience in Japan.

As soon as I've learnt about the Monbukagakusho Scholarship opportunity, I immediately decided to apply. I think studying with your assistance can give me the appropriate skills to achieve my goals and it is the right opportunity to grow up professionally and personally.

Best regards

Valentina Iavarone
