Hi All

I cannot recommend the book by Jacob Koopman more highly. As a resource for taxonomic research within the European Caricies it is without parallel and will be a mine of information for years to come. No doubt some will disagree with some of the accounts but it will serve as an invaluable starting point for these fascinating species and hopefully lead to a great deal of concensus and focus the needs for future research. And if for no other reason it is worth buying, or at least having i your University/herbaria library, for the fabulous photos alone. However its legacy will remain as the first port of call for any research within the European Caricies.
