Torrey Botanical Society Offers Grants -Deadlines 31 December 2011

 

The Torrey Botanical Society annually offers four grant competitions.
The grants provide $1000--$2500 each to support graduate student
research, undergraduate and graduate student training, and symposia.  A
wide range of botanical subjects are eligible for support.  Application
instructions are posted at http://www.torreybotanical.org/grants.html .

 

Specifically, the grants are the following.

1)       Torrey Botanical Society Graduate Student Research Fellowship.


2)       Torrey Botanical Society Andrew M. Greller Graduate Student
Research Award for Conservation of Local Flora and Ecosystems.  

3)       Torrey Botanical Society Undergraduate and Graduate Student
Training Fellowship.  

4)       Torrey Botanical Society Symposium Award.
