Hardware stores have a number of solvents in the paint section, and there are even some super solvents for glues in the plastic pipe sections. First, test them on a different spider . . .

Taxacomers,

A pest control guy caught a spider on a "glue board".

It is Catchmaster, Model # 72TC. It says, "non-poisonous Mouse
and Insect Glue Board.

I phoned the pest control guy to ask what solvent to use so that I
can remove the spider from the glue and then examine it to determine
the species (it was belly-side down).

He recommended "PAM". Now Pam softens the glue, but there are
still great gobs of the glue on the spider.

Anyone out there know a better solvent? Surely this problem has
arisen before?

Robin
