Semicolons in authorities

Dear Taxacomers

I have come across an authority attached to a plant species name as follows:

Larix gmelinii (Rupr.)Kuzen.;Silba.

As I have not come across a semicolon used in an authority before, I am
wondering if anyone can tell me what purpose it serves, or whether this is
likely to be an error.
