This was (IMO) exactly what Linnaeus was trying to determine: "What are
the originally created kinds?" That has to be *the* fundamental question
for a creationist biologist, hence my assertion that there aren't any,
anymore. (I've told classes that Linnaeus was one of the last truly
scientific creationists.)
I once read an account of a creationist talking about how the "wolf
kind" and "dog kind" were both part of the "canid kind", which in turn
was part of the "carnivore kind" and thence the "mammal kind". :-)
