Browallia spp. and Linnaea

Dear colleagues,

many thanks to all who responded on- and off-list to my inquiry
regarding the publication dates of Browallia demissa, B.elata, and
B.alienata (all by Linnaeus), and of the genus name Linnaea by Gronovius.

The databases you pointed me to list these names - as one could
expect - under the date at which they had been published validly,
i.e. after 1753. Since there is the story that Linnaeus named the
three Browallia-species consecutively in order to illustrate the
increasing distance between him and Browallius (demissus = low,
obsequious; elatus = high-spirited; alienatus = alienated), I wonder
if anyone could verify this by providing the dates at which these
names were first used by Linnaeus, even before 1759 (Systema Naturae
vol. 2, 10th ed.).

Thank you very much
                                         Best regards
                                          Michael
