canker worm describer

[David Voegtlin]

I have a friend that is interested in further information on W. D.
Peck who named the spring canker worm Paleacrita vernata (Peck) in an
article in the Massachussets Magazine in 1795.  Can anyone provide
information or have suggestions on possible sources.
