We bought a label making machine (Brother P-Touch) to do our genus cover
labels.  The tapes don't peel off readily and its easy to make multiple
labels with the same name.  Plus it can be used for all kinds of labels
since it has different size and types of fonts (including vertical
orientation).  I highly recommend this brand too.
