The propaganda aspect commented upon by John Grehan et al. is only to be expected if a cladist is writing the text. It is her duty to do so, because cladism is NOT a carefully evaluated scientific attitude. It is a fundamentalist ideology. From long experience I've learned never to argue with cladists. They operate from a different paradigm - and if Kuhn needed an example of incommensurability, this is a beauty!
