MDF drawers for collections

Hello TAXACOMERS

I have a question regarding MDF composite boards. Our Museum is planning to
buy new drawers and cabinets for our insect collection.

One of the manufacturers is offering MDF built drawers, but there is
concern about formaldehyde being one of the components of this material,
and what are the possible dangers for human health and form the specimens
stored in these boxes. Has any one heard about this?.
