Collembola (was: Class Insecta)

Dear All,
      Just wanted to pass along a link I received by private e-mail which
concerns the collembolans in particular.  It gives a good systematic
overview, and seems to give a big "thumbs down" on an ellipuran clade.
      Whether collembolans are closely related to proturans (or insects) or
not, there seems no consensus whether they evolved from branchiopods or
malacostracans (or even something else).  The answer could be quite
different for each separate "hexapod" clade.  Anyway, here's the link:
