Hexapoda sister group

Dear All,
It is pretty apparent that I strongly believe crustaceans gave rise
paraphyletically to the hexapods. However, I am much less certain which
crustaceans did so.
Could the sister group of Hexapoda be the Malacostraca (or some subset
thereof)? Or is it more likely hexapods are sister group of Branchiopods
(or some subset of that group)? Anybody have any strong feelings one way or
the other?
           ---- Ken Kinman
