taxa puns

i might add, that there are many many of these in the entomology world.

including the famous Ah so (i forget who is credited for that)(Roy Snelling???)

a chap many years ago who reworked the bee genus Bombus and gave the sugenera
megabombus, pyrobombus, atomicbombus (??) and nucleobombus(??)

i believe that recently a coleopterist - dr paul skelly gave species names to
many new species of a flightless scarab group that were names of flightless birds.
(can not find the paper at the moment)

and i am sure that the list of taxonomic puns is vast -- in all the groups.
