Question: fish development and patterns of fin colouration

Dear all,

"Is there anybody out there..." who knows something about the histology of
pigmentation in the fins of fishes, with a particular reference to the
development from the juvenile to the adult colouration patterns?
I'm particularly interested in the way in which melanophores/guanophores
divide and distribute throughout the fin membrane epithelium. Do they
cluster following some known particular patterns?
