Unknown organism

Dear all,

I would be very happy if you could have a look at the pictures at the
following  URL adress:

This thing is present on every branch of a Quercus in south France
(Lozère-Ardèche) at 900 m of altitude. The "thallus" is hard and very
sticky. I haven't got a specimen, just the pictures.

Any idea?
