The List of presumed extinct taxa on the Jepson Interchage is not
current. Here is a list of the 'rediscoveries' I am aware of from by
contact or literature. The Jepson Manual status list WAS current as of
the effective date when the treatment passed through final edits, in
some cases over a decade now...All told, there have been ca. 80 taxa on
the 'presumed extinct' list for California, but most have been relocated
eventually; the overwhelming problem is the evidence of absence/absence
of evidence dilemma
Astragalus pycnostachyus var. lanosissimus - rediscovered 1997
Astragalus tener var. ferrisiae - collected in 1989, determined as a
rediscovery in ca. 1992
Atriplex parishii - rediscovered in 1992
Chorizanthe orcuttiana - known from 3 occurrences, date of relocation??
Clarkia mosquinii - rediscovered 1991, as to the two chromosome races
named as subspecies, both have apparently been found (Gottleib and
Janeway in prog.?)
Helianthus nuttallii subsp. parishii - relocated 2001, on a site about
to become a huge mega home development
Orthocarpus pachystachyus - rediscovered in 1996
Plagiobothrys glaber - rediscovered in 2002
Sidalcea keckii - relocated some years ago, ca. 1995? Two known sites
are extant
Trifolium amoenum - somewhat famous since it is in cultivation at Bodega
Lab, relocated ca 1996

There's a page of California taxa mentioned as presumed extinct in The
Jepson Manual on the Jepson Interchange:
