Must be able to work with various fluid preservative and fixing agents (alcohol, formaldehyde, etc.), have physical dexterity to manipulate organisms under dissecting microscope, and ability to lift heavy containers or specimens (50 lbs.).


Is the use of formaldehyde, a known carcinogen, still permitted in public buildings in the USA? Wouldn't this raise the possibility of future lawsuits?
