Can you say "Collections manager"?

Dear Herbarium colleagues:

I'd like to be able to supply my dean and other administrators with
some information...information that may enhance the operation of this
herbarium. So here goes:

        1. What does a Collections Manager do? That is, what does the job
description specify?
        2. What are the job qualifications needed for being hired as a
Collections Manager?
        3. What is a reasonable salary for someone with the qualifications?

        Thanks JOHN
