At this url http://142.17.150.54/ there are pictures of a small shark bearing a strange outgrowth just between the pectoral fins. The specimen has been brought back by a former student who got it in the South (sorry, I am was not there when it arrived but it probably means Florida or Antilles). Helpful comments about this phenomenon are welcome. Thanks in advance. Martin
