Help! fungus pronunciation

How is the powdery mildew genus Erysiphe ordinarily pronounced? Accented on
the second syllable (hence uh-RISS-uh-fee in American English), or on the
third (perhaps air-uh-SIGH-fee or air-uh-SIFF-ee in American English)? Or
something else altogether?

My campus is closed until Jan. 2, our mycologist doesn't much use email,
web searches yield no pronunciations, and I need to finish off a CD-ROM for
next quarter's class. Thanks in advance!
