Evolution books for kids

[Don McAllister]

Because of the state you live in or the quality of teaching materials you may
feel your children, nephews, nieces, etc. are not getting a deep enough vision
of evolution.

There is a way around this. Look over the availabe books, choose one, buy a
present. Education is not all up to the schools. Talk to kids about
evolution.

I've just bought a book, suitable for children for my grandson, "Evolution,
The Greatest Story Tolld" by Philip Whitfield. Marshall Publishing, London.
220 pp. ISBN 1-84028-067-0. Softcover. 14.99 pounds sterling, CAN$35.95. This
book has a number of fine photos and drawings. The index does not have a word
in it under Creation or Special Creation. It does mention Cladistics. Amongst
many other topics are evolution of evolution, contribution of fossils,
interpreting evidence, coming of complex cells, genetic packaging,
adaptations, natural selection, genes and variation.
