slide ringer

I understand that last fall there was some discussion on this list
regarding the unavailability of slide ringers.  A few years ago I asked
John Rose, the maker of fine insect nets and aspirators, if he would
consider making slide ringers since none were available commercially.  I
sent him mine as a model and about a year ago I received a beautiful
machine that works very well, in fact it is better than mine.  I took  a
couple of photographs of the machine and put the details on a web page:
