Dear Taxacomers,

The US Forest Service is organizing a symposium on introduction of exotic
species, consequences, risks, etc. to be held in Kauai nest June 8th.
I will be presenting one point of view: botanical gardens, conservation and
introduction of exotics.

Any terror inspiring histories of introduced plant species that have
escaped captivity and are now eating people and destroying crops will be
welcome, even if anecdotal. Do include whatever data you feel should be
brought to the attention of the audience. Your contributions will be
acknowledged.

Thank you much, Luis D. Gomez
