Access to Australian and New Zealand Entomological Collections

[Ken Walker]

Dear All,

The Council of Heads of Australian Entomological Collections (CHAEC) has
set up a web site to facilitate more efficient access to Australian and
New Zealand collection based resources. Entomological collections housed
in Museums, Universities and Departments of Agriculture or Forestry are
listed. The web page provides: postal addresses; direct email from the
web page to the curator or collection manager of most collections; and the
charter and type holding status for each collection. As well, links to a
photo gallery and topics/issues section are being developed.

We hope this web site will assist access to these collections and their
staff.
